Big 5 Business Travel Tips for Entrepreneurs and Small Businesses

The big 5 tips weekly post is as always full of advice and tips for Entrepreneurs and Small Businesses owners.
1.      Buy airline tickets at least 1-2 months in advance. It is best to book domestic flights at least two weeks in advance, and even earlier for international flights. The tickets from 7 to 14 days ahead of departure are the most expensive.
2.      Streamline travel processes across the company and create and enforce travel policies. This will guide travelers when making travel plans, help curb rogue expenses and increase the efficiency of the corporate travel program.
3.      Integrate and automate travel expense tracking system. This will help reduce processing costs and reimbursement turnaround time.
4.       Join airline and hotel loyalty programs   and get credit rewards. Credits earned from long haul flight could be redeemed for a short domestic flight. This results into significant savings on your travel expense.
5.      Consider using a single card for all the business travel expenses. It offers a safe and flexible way to maintain control of business spending.
